Creating

To add a new election to report:

  1. Navigate to the elections page.
  2. Click add in the top left to begin the creation.
  3. Choose which type of election it is (you can view the list of current types below).
  4. Please enter all the information requestion about the election and some key dates.

Types

Regional Elections

Editing

Users are only able to edit existing elections which they have created, i.e. not shared with them.

  1. Navigate to the elections page.
  2. Click the pen icon under actions to edit the election.
  3. Edit any relevant items and click save.

Deletion

Users are only able to delete existing elections which they have created, i.e. not shared with them.

  1. Navigate to the elections page.
  2. Click the pen icon under actions to edit the election.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click delete, then confirm the choice of deletion.

Deleting elections is perminant, so please be certain you are happy with the data to be removed.

Selecting

Selecting an election will then allow you to submit expenses and track income to that election. You are currently unable to transfer expenses between elections so make sure you are on the correct election if you have multiple.

  1. Navigate to the elections page.
  2. Click the play icon under actions to select the election.
  3. You should be able to see the selected election on the dashboard in the top left.

Sharing

You are able to share elections between users, light coloured names are elections that have been shared with you.

  1. Navigate to the elections page.
  2. Click the share icon under actions to share the election.
  3. You will be able to enter the email address of another user of AgentAid.
  4. If they are current users of the software it will appear as a shared election on their election page.

All elections created on behalf of a registered policial party will be shared with the party automatically.
